Management /Supervisor Training
NZDDA has developed an exciting and dynamic management/supervisor training package called "How to Manage Drug and Alcohol Risks in the Workplace" At the end of this 4 hour training course the manager/supervisor will be armed with the practical skills and knowledge to confidently deal with issues that arise within the workplace around drug and alcohol use.
Topics covered include:
- Drug and alcohol testing in the workplace.
- The basics about the AS/NZS 4308:2008.
- Duties under the Health and Safety Employment Act.
- Statistics and facts.
- Forming reasonable grounds.
- Drug abuse indicators and associated paraphernalia.
- Search and seizure.
- Receiving and handling sensitive information.
- Group Scenario work.
Attendees will also receive course reference material and a certificate of course completion.
While these course are designed to be delivered at your workplace NZDDA also run these at our offices around the country on a monthly basis for those companies with a small number of managers/supervisors as well as for those bigger companies who want to see if the NZDDA management training would suit their requirements before rolling out training for the whole company.
